Calibration
:-The act of checking or adjusting (by comparison with a standard)
the accuracy of a measuring instrument.
The software Calibration System, developed for an ISO 9002 company
Mahle Migma Ltd., facilitates in keeping |
| the
records of all the IMTEs (Inspection, Measuring, and Test Equipment)
viz. IMTE type, MTE Identification No., IMTE Description, Dept. that
shall use that IMTE, Current IMTE status (Existing, Missing, Rejected
etc.) etc. in regards to that it also maintains the records for concerned
departments, parties and vendors like Calibration vendors, Suppliers,
Parties for repair, Parties for calibration etc. this software keeps
records of all issuances and receptions of IMTEs as to what IMTE,
when, to which dept./party it has been issued or from which dept./party
it has been received, purpose of issuance/reception etc. |

that the IMTE is capable of the required accuracy and precision. |

the process employed for calibration of IMTE including details
of equipment type, unique identification, location, frequency
of checks, check method, acceptance criteria, and the action
to be taken when results are unsatisfactory . |

records of IMTEs and their calibration schedule. |

The
ISO 9001 and ISO 9002 quality assurance systems require producers
to state what measurements are used during the process, what
level of error tolerance is allowed for these measurements and
which measuring instruments are used for the measurements.

The
frequency and type of calibration must be sufficient to ensure
that the equipment being used for inspection, measurement, or
test is capable of the required accuracy. Calibration may be
conducted by certified external calibration services or by the
user .

Reports
the Calibration Schedule as to when an IMTE is to be calibrated
or within specified dates what all IMTEs to be calibrated.

Also
maintains the history of IMTEs as to how many times an IMTE
has been calibrated, on what days, what all departments/agencies
issues or receptions have been done from, what is its present
status etc.

Reports
for the missing IMTEs, Found IMTEs, Tested IMTEs, IMTE master
list, IMTE list (Product wise), IMTE list (Agency wise), Products
and Operations.

Backup
and Restoring of the data.
